Answer : Yes(for the average Indian). Maybe not(if you are heavily into hollywood flicks)

Question : Is there a smooch between Hrithik and Aishwarya? Rating?

Answer : There is no smooch and there is no kiss. Its just a peck!In the age of Mallikas and Dhupias pecks are not rated.

Question : Is D2 an all out Hrithik Roshan show?

Answer : Yes and No.

Well after a very dissapointing Krrish I decided not to expect anything great from Bollywood. Because Bollywood is Bollywood. A 50 crore budget for Krrish is nothing before a staggering $200 million Spiderman 2 budget.

Yeah you cant blame Bollywood for that. They dont have that kind of money. SO back to D2.

Dhoom 2 is a awsome ride alright!

We all know the story. Mr A is an international thief who leaves his mark whenever he commits a crime. Mr A meets Sunehri who suggests him for a partnership. Jai Dixit and Ali(now also in the police) arefollowing Mr As trails through Goa, Rajasthan and South Africa. Helping them in this chase is ACP Shonali Bose. The investigation-cum-chase takes them to Rio where they meet Monali Shonalis twin sister. The cat and mouse games ends in Rio itself but not before a twist.

The movie belongs to Hrithik and Aishwarya majorly followed by Abhishek. Not that Abhishek is bad or has a lesser role. I read a lot of reviews where people said Abhishek is Hrithiks chaprasi in the film. I dont agree with that. Abhishek has an equal role in the film. But his stylist let him down. I mean he is dancing next to a scantily clad Bipasha wearing a light blue half shirt, white shoes and white pants whats that about? And about the stubble as I have previously mentioned - One has to have an entire wardrobe designed and stiched if one has to carry out a stubble. You cant be in the same frame as Hrithik with a stubble and a funnily styled jeans.

About the cast

Hrithik Hrithik is absolutely mindblowing in D2. In every frame. In every shot. The crowd in the cinema hall went wild whenever he came on the screen, and whenever he danced, and whenever he pulled off a heist. I guess of all his movies he looks the best in D2, setting the screen on fire. And his scenes with Abhishek(three of them) are the highlight of the film. He takes the cake in two of them.

Aishwarya Hot! hot! hot! The perfect supplement to Hrithik. I have to admit here I have never been a fan of Ms World. I still am not. But she has worked hard on her body for this movie. She appears in an avatar one could have never imagined. But her acting is a little over the top. The use of the word like is excessive.

Their chemistry is superb. Especially in the chase sequence and the jump from the mountain and the kiss oops, peck!

Abhishek His role has been given adquate screen space in the first half. Its in the second half when Aryan and Sunehri come together when his footage goes down. But nevertheless, he has some nice action sequences the one in Goa and the last one where he chases Aryan. The shot where he jumps over Ayran with his bike is priceless(reminded me of MI2s bike chasing scene)

Uday Chopra Very funny. The movie is so slick that whenever Uday aka Ali mumbles anything one feels like laughing. Uday has done a good job.

Bipasha Basu Present only for skinshow. Her character comes across as very strong and Angelina Jolie-ish at the start but post interval she is just displaying her curves.(which is reason enough to watch Dhoom 2).

My only complaint with D2 is the music and Abhisheks dressing. I got my moneys worth. A number of reviewers have complained about a lack of story.

Well I guess D2 does not need one!!!
